First & Last Weigh In

Yesterday, was the big weigh in day for my 1st week on the South Beach diet, and I weighed in at 164. So a total of 4 pounds lost for a week. Which isn't amazing but isn't bad either. But, I have decided that I am not going to do the SB diet. I am a foodie, I love all kinds of food. And, I just don't see myself giving up any one food group for the rest of my life. I need rice, pasta, potatoes, and bread in my life. So I just going to do what I should have from the beginning eat healthy, in moderation, and exercise.

I'm doing it!

I am on my way to a skinny me! Really, I just want to be able to wear a pair of shorts this summer, without thinking about how fat my thighs are the whole time I have them on.

So, I decided that I would do the South Beach diet. I don't do so well with the whole I'm just going to eat healthy and exercise thing. I also ended up cheating that way. The SB diet lays it all out for you. I am feeling a little sick right now, but I think that is because my body is trying to adjust. This is the first day in a long long time that I have had no junk food.

I plan on doing weigh in once a week on Tuesdays. So, when I weighed this morning I weighed 168 and I hope to get down to around 130-135.
